First Edition 1/150 Deluxe. Folio. Wrappers in Slipcase. Artist Monograph. Fine 24pp, profusely illustrated in color and b&w. Text in French, with an English summary. This is a monographic edition of Maeght's legendary periodical "Derriere Le Miroir" (featuring the great artists and writers of the 20th Century) devoted solely to Richard Lindner's 1977 exhibition of paintings and watercolors. An internally bright, pristine example of the deluxe slipcased edition printed on Velin de Rives limited to one hundred and fifty copies NUMBERED (39/150) AND BOLDLY SIGNED "R Lindner" in pencil on the rear colophon housed in the publisher's purple paper-over-boards chemise and slipcase with printed pastedown. The magazine itself is in spectacular condition, the chemise bears mild sunning along the spine, while the slipcase shows light wear and similar mild sunning.
