The page edges are uncut, the text is complete, marking to the pages, some foxing to the last couple of sheets, fairly tidy internally, without the front endpaper. Pages; (4), 270, (6). Original owners fine armorial bookplate on the endpaper of; Nicholas John Philipson- descended from the Thirlwall Castle Philipsons- he edited and published in 1820- 'The Heraldic Visitation of the County Palatine of Durham.'. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
