Text is tight, bright & intact. Volume #1 has a fold-out 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" color map of Paris, 2 fold-out map/plans, 5 fold-outs of monuments/buildings & 2 single page engravings. [xxiv, 631pp, 1 (errata) ]. Volume #2 has has 3 single page engravings/ plans, 3 fold-out plans/maps & 11 fold-outs of monuments/buildings. [2, 645pp, 1(errata) ]. Both front covers & vol-1 rear cover cracked with covers firmly attached. Spine ends rubbed with some loss & bottom corners rubbed. 2 fold-outs have minor tape repair & 2 have small tear at site of attachment. France; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 1276 pages .
