London: George E. Eyre and William Spottiswoode, 1873. Collation, cix[1]699pp, 12 coloured plates, other full page and text illustrations throughout. Bound in quarter calf, cloth boards, gilt title lettering. Calf rubbed and scuffed, corners of boards with some wear loss, library number on spine. Binding in good clean firm condition. Internally, occasional library stamps throughout, coloured plates stamp on margins, not affecting engraved area. Pages and illustrations in very good clean condition. A good clean copy, in a good solid binding. A69. First Edition. Good Plus. 8vo.
