This volume is intersting because of the notations in pencil throughout, very detailed notes on people in his works and addional observations about the plate discussed., possibly the authors personal book or definitley someone who knew Hayden well. Book: brown hardbound with gilt titles on front panel and on spine. corners slighly bumped and some wear, no previous owner bookplate or writiing, first fron page is toned, very presentable with unduplicated notation, no jacket as issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
