Boston: The Bibliophile Soc., 1912 23 pp.; HB. Original descriptive publisher's brochure laid in. One of a limited edition of only 469 copies for the members of the Bibliophile Society. Title page engraving by Arthur N. Macdonald, and is originally signed by him in pencil. Six etched illustrations by W.H.W. Bicknell, which were only produced for this book (and then the plates destroyed) are each originally pencil signed by the illustrator. Pages: clean, ivory, tight, t.e.g., f.e./b.e. deckled, frontis; no defects. Cover: polished calf, gilt linework front/back, gilt titles spine; moderate shelf/edgewear, with edges and joints scuffed, spine a bit worn. Lacks slipcase.

Fine-AN, but not as bright, minor marks or other minor defects. Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
