London: Ernest Benn Limited, 1924. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Bound in dark blue cloth covered boards, paper title plates on the front and spine. Some light shelf wear, spine sunned, piece missing across the spine title plate but remaining robust and square. Hinge and text block firm. End papers darkened with a small previous owner label inside the front. Pages smooth and clean, lightly and evenly age-toned. Abundantly illustrated throughout. A very good well preserved copy.
