Remarkable and unique collector's item in that the text contains MARGIN NOTES THROUGHOUT BY ACADEMY AWARD WINNING SCREENWRITER PHILIP YORDAN, IN PREPARATION FOR YORDAN'S ACADEMY-AWARD NOMINATED SCREENPLAY ADAPTATION. (Purchased from Yordan's San Diego estate.) GOOD solid hard cover has faintly age-toned pages that is pronounced at text block edges. Some wear at head, tail, edges, and corners (through to boards at small spots). Somewhat poor DJ now in protective mylar has light rubbing, age toning, and moderate shelf wear. Back flap is separated at hinge but is included; front flap is almost separated. Medium chips at head, tail and back cover bottom edge. DJ spine age toned and letters quite faded. . Good. Hardcover. 1949.
