In publisher's dust jacket, $2.50 retail price on front flap, faint foxing to rear panel, light sunning to spine, a near fine example. Signed by author on front free endpaper; "For Reverend M. J. Forewood / on his hundredth birthday. With admiration and gratitude for all those who build sets and lives. Congratulations on this day - (see page 146) / Sidney Kingsley." On page 146, Kingsley underlined some lines spoken by Detective Brody: "You're all right, baby. They can't hurt you. You're one of the indestructibles, you're immortal, baby.
