About This Item
First printed in UK 1972, this reprint copy 1980. This is the very hard to find cool cover of the German Waffen SS soldier with the machine gun bullet belt draped around his neck. From the back cover, "This is a first hand record of an unregenerate Nazi who escaped the war crimes trials in Europe after World War II and joined the French Foreign Legion. Sent to Indochina to fight the Viet Minh, the German battalion shot, bombed, tortured, and bayonetted the enemy.
Toning and light foxing to page edges. Binding tight, no missing or loose pages, a very nice and scarce copy with plenty of good reads left in it.
