New York: L.B. Cake, 1898. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Very Good cloth first edition of privately printed volume with gilt lettering on spine and cover. No DJ. Spine is straight and tight, but is faded and moderately soil, as is cover. Shelf wear and rubbing to top and bottom of spine and covers. Corners bumped. Spine and cover may be slightly bowed, so that the front cover is concave while the back cover is convex. But this is almost imperceptible. Age toning to all pages commensurate with age. No markings, tears, or creases. Not ex lib. Illustrations. 195 pages.
