New York: L. B. Cake, 1898. Unusual anthology of poems from "Lu B. Cake" also known as Robert S. Young, a minister. Initial poem, with photo, about the rock formation called the Devil's Tea Table in Vinton County, Ohio. The author's daughter, Dorothy Young, was best known as Harry Houdini's assistant from 1925 to 1926. She later became a Broadway actress as well as a touring dancer. First edition, privately published. Pages show browning, covers have soil, rubbing, wear to edges. 5.5 x 8.5 with 195 pages.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by None.
