London: Collins, 1936. First Edition. Red Cloth. Good Plus/No Jacket. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Edwards, Lionel. Type: Z 96pp. 1936. First edition. A good plus copy of this rare sporting book. No wrapper. Nine full page colour plates after the art work of Lionel Edwards, 17 photographs and 15 black and white illustrations as called for. No inscriptions. Original publisher's cloth. Gilt embossed title to the spine. A gilt embossed vignette of a stag to the front board. The cloth spine a little faded. Some light mottling or surface rubbing to the rear board. Two thirds of the front endpaper has been torn away and is missing. No loss of text. Insect damage (probably silverfish) to the head of the front paste-down and corner of the rear paste-down and rear endpaper (with loss to the corner). Slight scattered foxing - chiefly to the endpapers - but largely free from foxing.
