New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1955. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 7 3/4" X 5 1/4. Contents: I. Letter from the Land of Sinners, II. Persons in Time, III. Snow Queen. Previous owner of this copy was Miriam Waddington, the Canadian poet. Her name in pencil ffep. Book is from the collection of Greg Gatenby, the Toronto author/poet who also hosted the Harbourfront literary events. His signature and date of acquisition is also found ffep. Dedication copy: " For Greg Gatenby, Adrienne Rich Harbourfront 1994". Book has dark blue paper spine with white text, lighter blue paper covered boards have dark blue Harper colophon bottom front panel. Bottom corners lightly bumped as is tail of spine, spine ends scuffed, top edge sunned, spotting rep's. Price clipped, Brodart protected DJ has browned spine and dark blue text, minor chipping. Back panel has reviews of A Change of World (1951). Digital images available on request. SIGNED by AUTHOR. Bookseller's Inventory # 122913.
