This is a lovely set with just light shelfwear and still sound very handsome binding, two small library labels are affixed to the front paste-down of both volumes, and a previous owner's signature to the first blank page, some foxing has occurred but almost entirely to the beginning and ending pages.. Two volumes, 518pp., 527pp. 3/4 dark brown leather over pebbled cloth covered boards, raised bands with gilt decorations and titling in spine compartments, gilt ruled borders, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt.
