London: Darton & Harvey, 1834. 2nd edition. xxx + [4] + 592 pp. 8vo., diced calf with gilt rules and raised bands, gilt spine lettering. Boards worn, soiled. Remnants of bookplate to front pastedown; marbled endpapers. Hinge cracked at verso of front flyleaf. Light soil to title page; text age-toned at edges. Binding tight. Jaffray was one of the Scottish Commissioners to King Charles II, and a member of Cromwell's Parliament.
