A slick paper pamphlet issued by Bulletin of the University Hospital (affiliated with the University of Georgia School of Medicine) in Augusta Georgia in March, 1945 (Vol. 5, No. 8). This pamphlet is taken from the Autograph and Diary of J.R. McMichael, which was privately printed and was sold at Fort Delaware DE, in 1864. The pamphlet is 28 pages long and is primarily letters written to and from Captain McMichael during his incarceration at Fort Delaware as a prisoner of war (1864-1865). The original book is rare, and this pamphlet is itself is quite scarce. The pamphlet is included in several major library civil war collections, as well as several major private collections. In superior condition, there is one small light water stain in the outter margin and some light soiling to the outside pages; there is no cover.
