1905. Hardcover. Fine/None. Volume itself has black cloth covers and gold lettering on the spine and front cover. An emblem of a pack animal and two men in red is also on the front cover. Book itself is protected in a clear archival quality cover. Signed, dated and placed by the author inside the front cover as follows: "Nathaniel P. Langford/ St. Paul Minnesota/ July 29, 1908/." Underneath the author's signature is that of his wife together with an address in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition the book is signed by seven other important individuals of the day and time with their addresses and cities. Langford was a key participant in the Washburn expedition and the first Yellowstone Park superintendent. A one of kind affinity Yellowstone Park volume. The work has been restored by an experienced professional bookbinder and should last more than another 100 years.
