Oxford: At the Clarendon Press, 1940. Hardcover, dark blue cloth in original printed buff dust-jacket. 199 pages. General Bibliography, Index. An exceeding scarce and uncommon reference. Includes short bibliography at rear. The 1976 reprint has long been out of print and copies of either the Oxford or the Octagon re-issue are almost never found in dust-jacket. No writing, marking or marginalia. Dust-jacket shows chip at upper spine and mild age toning. Cloth covers clean and square. A very fine copy in rare, near fine dust-jacket, protected by brodart cover. . First Edition. Cloth. Very Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
