Paris: P.D. Duboy-Laverne. Fair with no dust jacket. 1802. First Edition. Hardcover. xv + 227 pp. In French and Arabic. Printed by Duboy-Laverne for L'Imprimerie de La Republique in the Year X (1802). Extremely rare French-Arab dictionary, slanted toward those doing business in the Levant. Brown paper-covered hard boards are worn at all edges. Both boards detached, spine perished. Front end paper has some small marks and scars, first blank detached, has old ink ownership inscript which has been scratched out. Foxing throughout, very occasional small ink blots in both black and brown ink, sometimes affecting text although generally minimally. Last blank detached, has some old notes and mathematical sums in ink, last end papers has a few small scars and marks. Usable as is but would benefit from some restoration.; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall .
