About This Item
Schlosstheater Schoenbrunn, 1984. Paperback (Saddle Stitched). Very Good. Unmarked program guide for Die Liebeslist: La Fina Semplice by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Wiener Blut by Johann Strauss. Primarily in German, but some English, French and Italian translations. Advertisements. Theater plan. Illustrated. Since the 17th century occasional drama performances took place in the park of Schoenbrunn, but there was no permanent building until Empress Maria Theresia commissioned Nikolaus Pacassi to construct the Palace Theater. In 1929 the Palace theatre was handed over to the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar (Academy for Performing Arts). It is now used as a rehearsal stage throughout the academic year, from October to June.
