No additional printings listed. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has black cloth-covered boards with white spine and cover lettering. Black & white illustrations; 10 plates at end. 268 pages. Foreword by Prof. D. Dr. Christhard Mahrenholz. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Boards exposed at tips. The exterior cloth of the spine has about a two inch tear at the bottom front edge. Covers have moderate edge wear and surface rubbing. Binding cracked at title page; webbing visible, but no pages are loose. Small organ bookstore stamp on front endpaper. Name and address in ink on front free endpaper. Four pages of the plates have small x marks at the bottom corner in pencil. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
