Baedeker's Die Rheinlande von der Elsassischen bis zur Hollandischen Grenze Rheinpfalz Saar Gebiet Handbuch fur Reisende von Karl Baedeker (the Rhineland from the Alsatian to the Dutch border, Rhenish palatinate and Saar area, handbook for travellers from Karl Baedeker). German language, 1925, 33rd edition, published by Karl Baedeker, Leipzig, 450 pages, containing numerous coloured maps of areas, towns and streets, including a number that extend out. Flexible red cloth boards and spine, with gilt lettering. Spine is split at front outer hinge but still attached at rear and inner hinges also intact. Boards are a little scuffed but have retained much of their colour. They also contain creases and a few small tears. Signs of rubbing and shelf-wear. Corners bumped and a little torn. Binding reasonably firm though strained in several places. Page edges patterned, a little browned but quite clean. Page surfaces are quite clean, a little tanned and there are odd creases and little tears, but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
