Durch Johann Philip Schabalie in Niederländischer Sprach beschrieben; anjetzo aber in die Hochteutsche Sprach übersetzet von B.B.B. Die Dritte Auflage." [8], 463, [25] p.; 17 cm. Signatures: A-2G8 2H-2I4. Contemporary full calf with five spine compartments between raised bands; hardware from two clasps. Woodcut headpieces. Label on front fixed endpaper indicating that a former owner purchased this at an auction in 1993 in Friedensburg, Pa., from the estate of Stella Faust. Translation of Lust des Gemoedis. The translator is identified as Bernhart B. Brechbill in an English language edition printed at Harrisburg in 1834. "Register." -- p. [464-485]. First Cent. of Ger. Language Printing in the U.S.A., 929; Evans, 27674. Lacking about 1/3 of leaf R6 (pp. 259-60); otherwise in Good Condition: lacking 1.5 cm. leather at head of spine; leather is somewhat rubbed but solid; lacking clasps; lacking both free endpapers; a few pencilled marginalia.
