About This Item
Delagrave, 1890. Hardcover. Good. Mildly soiled and scuffed red hardcover boards 18 x 25 cm, black embossed motifs, gilt highlights which are now rubbed in places; page edges also gilded. Separation gap and 2 cm tear in head of spine. Binding cracked at half title page but still solid. Text is lightly and uniformly yellowed, pages have one or two ripples (lays flat and square), engravings look great and text crisp nonetheless.
