Bound in publisher's dark brown cloth, gilt lettering to spine. Glossy color dj. Plain white endpapers. [i-vi], vii-xlviii prelim material, [1-2], 3-148. Contents, author's preface; intro, map, the epic in eight books (Grottaferrata version), plus excerpts from the Andros, Escorial, and Slavic versions; notes; works consulted. Condition notes: a near-fine copy in an unclipped dust jacket sheathed in mylar. Boards tight and square with rolling to lower spine end. Interior unmarked. An enormously important work of the middle-Byzantine period. We personally inspect every book we offer.

In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
