An interesting medical reference book on the use of alkalometry, or the administration small doses of precise medicines to the patient, repeating administration until the desired effect is reached. This theory of medicine was advanced in a reaction against administering large doses and running the risk of poisoning the patient. The remedies are prescribed for the condition or symptoms rather than a specific diseases. A list of drugs and conditions is included, along with numerous articles.
