1955. Digital computer comparison charts. Reprint from Aviation Age (June 1955). N.p.: Remington Rand Univac, [1955]. Original pictorial wrappers, light soiling to rear wrapper, inscribed "1844" in grease pencil on front wrapper. 3 folding charts. 282 x 216 mm. First separate edition. A series of charts reprinted by the UNIVAC branch of Remington Rand, comparing the computers then available for aviation research and development. Among the factors compared are sales or rental cost, amount of floor space required (the IBM 701 took up as much as 2400 square feet!), speed of operation, storage type and capacity, input and output, number system, and maintenance.
