The author presents the history of the concept of human dignity. The work is divided in three sections and generally deals with philosophy, theology, and literature. Head and tail of spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Top corners of leaves bumped throughout. Some staining on cloth. Head and tail and midsection on inside of dj spine repaired with tape. Some staining, chipping and tearing on dj. Dust jacket in fair, binding in good, interior in overall very good condition.
