A tight, clean, sound copy in green cloth covered boards with gold lettering and graphics on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear with some very, veyr light rubbing along the bottom spine edges and at the right board corners plus there is the original owner's name in blue ink on the front free endpapers plus there is some yellowing of the outside paper edges. A general introduction to the diplomatic history of Iran from 1917 to 1923. The documents are drawn from English, Persian, Russian, and American publications and place a major emphasis on Anglo-Russian power politics, the Great Game, and how this affected English and Russian policies towards Iran. 331p..
