USA: Random House, 1965. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 500pp. First edition, first printing (true first - the US edition preceding all others). In red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and designs to spine, blind stamped decorations on front board. Deckled edges, toned. Previous owner's name on a mildly discoloured front free endpaper, which also has a small raised area, else internally neat and clean. In its original dust jacket (tiny chip on lower leading corner and same along upper edge; some mild shelf wear, just about very good). The novel that sparked the famous Hollywood film of the same name.
