Small 8vo, approximately 160 x 100 mm, 6¼ x 3¾ inches, pages: [8], 1-304, bound in full contemporary panelled speckled calf, with head of spine in red with same decoration to match label, gilt lettered label to spine, gilt decoration to spine, marbled endpapers, edges red. Houghton, Michigan: Isle Royale Natural History Association, [1979]. Softcover book with pictorial wraps. 160p. B&W photos throughout text. This is the original printing, later reprinted by the University of Minnesota Press. Book has been well read and is in very good - condition with wear to the cover image along the edge and reading crease to front cover, corners bumped and shelf wear. Pages are clean and unmarked with light staining on the edge of a few pages. Please see photos for specifics. A portion of all book sales from Babcock & 68th are donated to charity.
