Edinburgh: Ogle & Aikman. Very Good-. 1801. Fourth Edition. 1/4 leather. 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 276 pages; 4th edition. Volume I only (of two). Soundly bound in 1/4 polished green calf backed spine and corners with marbled paper sides. Extra gilt designs and ruling tooled directly to spine and seams. Light shelf rubbing and scuffing to leather at tips and extremities. 20th Century bookplate to front endpage with 19th C ownership in manuscript to the blank front flyleaf. Light rubbing and flaking to marbled paper over the board edges. Volume I only. Uncommon in original printings. Stennett was a 17th Century Seventh Day Baptist minister and hymn writer. VG- .
