About This Item
Time Inc., 1980. Very Good. Vol. 1, No. 1, October; no cover price (2nd issue at "Two Dollars"), b/w/color throughout, saddle-stapled. Vintage magazine published as Time's science monthly, focusing on natural and computer science and less on speculative science (like UFO's). From the estate of Andrew J. Offutt, with his "Funny Farm" mailing label on the front. Offutt was an avid science fiction author noted for "Conan"-themed fantasies, and wrote 100s of erotic novels under pseudonyms John Cleve, Turk Winter, John Denis, Opal Andrews, among others, regularly referring to his Kentucky homestead as the Funny Farm. Very Good Plus overall, light rubbing, and brief creasing.
