Meetings One to Four of the World Health Organization Study Group on the Psychobiological Development of the Child, Geneva. Published 1956-1960. Members of this group included, among others, John Bowlby, Konrad Lorenz, Margaret Mead, Piaget and Grey Walter, with guests at sessions including Erik Erikson, Von Bertalanffy,and Julian Huxley. Vol.1- 240 pp., 21 text figs; Vol.2 - 271 pp, 22 figs inc. 4 pp. plates ex-pagination; Vol.3 - 224, 18 figs; Vol.4- 186 pp., 5 figs. Vol.1 has stamp of 'City of Lincoln Education Committee' top front endpaper but no other markings and this does not seem to be a lib.mark, only an ownership stamp, rear endpaper has marginal crease, other vols all clean, tight & unmarked in clean unworn covers, though occ.slight hints of sunfading at extremeties, all jackets clean and unclipped, two have slight top spine rubbing, all now sealed in protective wrappers, all top edges red. An excellent and complete set of this important series of encounters between widely divergent eminent figures in psychology and related disciplines.
