London: The Epworth Press, 1945. Gilt title on blue cloth boards which are clean and unmarked with a touch of wear to spine head and tail and some fading to spine head and tail. Internally there is a small name to front pastedown else very clean, tight and unmarked. Dustjacket has wear to edges and chipping. The book points out that the Christian Church from the beginning has included the Old Testament in its scriptures, that the whole Bible is the Word of God, and that the distinctive ideas of the Old Testament form the starting point from which the Christian prospect opens out. **** NOT EX LIB **** R1.
