Very Good/Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 8vo., 326pp. Very pretty First Edition, beautifully bound in original burnt-orange cloth with titles stamped in gilt on spine. Square and tight with some minor surface wear, corners lightly bumped and a mildly toning spine. Previous owner's name stamped on the front paste-down. An area of off-setting to front paste-down and endpaper. Clean throughout and very solid. Very uncommon treatise on why wines can be just as "divine" and purpose-serving if they are NOT fermented; arguing against the intoxicating effect of wine as we know it. Gabler p.235 G35150 but First Edition, not 2nd.
