Hardback oblong quarto, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), full-page colour drawings, minor edgewear jacket (spine little faded, front flap scratched), minimal foxing edges. 64 pp. Children's stories written by Aborigines. The title (pronounced Jook-urr-pa) means everything concerning the Spirit Time, or Dreamtime, stories. This is the first time a group of Aborigines has written and illustrated some of their own myths and legends. This unique book brings together myths and legends from widespread areas and peoples, and is suitable for young and old.
