First UK edition (no additional printings listed on copyright page). 320 pages + colour frontispiece. 88 full page black and white illustrations. Grey cloth boards with blue lettering on spine and front board. Page dimensions: 199 x 133mm. Illustrated by the author. Colour illustrated endpapers.
