Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters with netting visibly exposed; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with visible tanning, staining and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends.

London: Blackie & Son 48 pp, 7 1/4" H. No date. Pictorial front cover, red cloth spine. Profusely illustrated throughout in colour. When Billie Fluffytail, a young rabbit, takes on the job as assistant to Doctor Prickleback (a hedgehog) an unfortunate accident leads to the loss of valuable medicines. The Fluffytail family plan a sucessful benefit show to raise money to replace them, but an unscrupulous participant almost ruins the day, until Robbie the sheep dog intervenes. Light curvature to boards, some pages have soft wrinking at fore-edge due to handling, small corner bump on front board, light edge wear.. Hard Cover. Very Good-/No Jacket.
