Laminated card covers (very slight bump to lower corner on verso). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. An experiment in the application of the historical method to the study of religious beliefs and doctrines, designed to show its usefulness. Originally published in French, this English translation by Victor Leuliette was first published in 1904 by Williams and Norgate and is faithfully reproduced here. 8vo.
