Rebound, with the original cloth top and bottom laid over the new boards, as well as the original portion of the spine with the title laid on. Covers are a little darkened along edges, though gilt image of the dodo on the top cover remains good. Previous owner's book plate on front paste down. Both color plates how a little foxing. Other plates are generally good, though some tissue guards are torn or folded. There is a half inch closed tear from the edge on page 5/6. There is a little general light wear, though overall contents are otherwise clean.
