London: Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1927. 1st Edition. 4to, vii + pp116 with Aldin's charming White, cream and black illustrations throughout and 1 colour plate. Hardcover with dust jacket. DJ in protective sleeve in poor condition with most of spine missing and chipping and tearing to all edges with other small pieces missing. Original brown cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine and front board and illustration of Bull Terrier pasted to front board in very good condition with some a few dents to boards. Inside end papers have been torn out otherwise in very good condition with the odd spot of foxing.
