About This Item
New York: Knopf, 1995. SIGNED. NF/F. Stated First Edition. Signed by Peter Mayle on the half-title page. The small book is tight (appears unread) with solid hinges and good tips. Light creases to spine ends. The textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate, or markings and not BCE, ex-library, or remaindered. Delightful drawings by Edward Koren throughout. The dust jacket is unclipped ($20.00) and Fine. Protected in a new Brodart Mylar cover. 192 pages. 5 x 7½" tall.
Once upon a time in Provence, France, Peter Mayle adopted a dog of uncertain origins and dubious hunting skills and named him Boy. Now he gives Boy a voice in a "memoir" proving that the best vantage point for observing life may be on all fours.
