V.g. in blue cloth with patches of fading to front and rear, with faded gilt lettering to cream cloth spine, in a fair unclipped d.w. showing wear to top and bottom edges. Faint small blind stamp of Lancaster Public Library on 2 pages at front and 1 at rear, attractive Ex Libris bookplate on front pastedown (unnamed). Authors presentation inscription signed and dated Christmas 1947 on front fly-leaf. Corrigonda (corrections needed) loosely inserted. A tight sound clean copy.
