Near Fine. limited printing on handmade paper, in German in Weiss Rundgotisch font, [10.25x7in]; 51 pp., 61 hand colored woodcut illustrations by Fritz Kredel. Tan paper covers with alternating dark and olive green images in devices and dark green lettering on spine; Minor shelf wear with rubbing to bottom edge and front corners slightly worn and bumped; Afterword by Sophie-Charlotte u. Konrad Bauer. "The printed in this book text was compiled from several old, mutually somewhat complementary versions that were in the library of Frankfurt Goethe Museum and its collection available the text of Goethe's manhood was used extensively acting brave, puppeteer scourge Brecht. The in Scheibles Monastery (1847) first printed in Augsburg and Ulm matches were used, and some other texts could here and there a good turn be removed.
