Hardcover, no dustjacket, brown decorative cloth, 147 pages + 2 pages of ads, illustrated by Darley, frontis illustration with the original tanned tissue-guard, decorative title page, edge-wear to the corners, the first two blank end-papers are stained, a few mild stains on page 8, the binding is clean and tight, the gold decoration remains bright and the thext and illustrations are in nice shape .
