First Edition/First Printing. DJ has shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities (crown of the DJ is chipped and worn). Bound in cloth boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Foxing present. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. A professor of Spanish Studies and lecturer on Italian Literature at Trinity College and an accomplished violinist, Starkie spent many summers trekking with gypsies through Spain, Morocco, and many Eastern European countries, paying his way busking with his fiddle. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
