About This Item
NY: Lovel or Lovell and Coryell, 1890. Crown octavo, half tan calf with marbled paper sides, spines elaborately gilt in 6 compartments with red and navy blue labels, top edges gilt. Very Good. Internally clean, no markings, bindings tight, leather moderately spotted (see photo). Lovell published 8 works by Lyall over the 1880s and 90s; we find no record that they were issued as a set. Here are seven of them in uniform fine bindings.
