first edition, first impression tall 8vo. 56pp., black cloth, spine gilt lettered, light fox spot at fore edge of half-title & title leaves, else a nice copy in a nice dust jacket (with just a hint of foxing).
Inscribed "Seamus Heaney/ 23rd December 1969" on title page and with a further non-authorial presentation inscription dated "Christmas 1969" on a preliminary blank (not the endpaper but the blank leaf following that).
